On behalf of the Board of Directors and members who attended our banquet last night, thank you for the wonderful program you presented to our group. I heard many, many nice comments from our members. You are a dynamic speaker, mixing your knowledge of plants and landscaping with just plain “fun.” It is amazing you have accomplished so much in your 24 years. We can just imagine what lies in your future.
Thank you also for bringing the beautiful iris plants. I know our members were really pleased to be able to see and bid on them. Best wishes and happy hybridizing!” –Shirley Toney, Indiana Daylily & Iris Society
>>”Thank you for your enlightening presentation to Bluebirds Across Nebraska in Crete on April 9. We learned so much and appreciate the time you took to prepare so carefully and present with clarity and verve.” –Joannie Cradick, Bluebirds Across Nebraska
>>”Kelly Norris was the lead speaker in our Learn on Saturdays series for 2010. Not only did he draw a crowd—at 185 we began to turn away people so as not to break fire code. The only criticism I heard was that I should have given him two hours instead of one. We will definitely be inviting him back.” –Elvin McDonald, Director of the Friends of the Des Moines Botanical Center
>>”It’s rare to find a plant geek, tech whiz and engaging personality all in one person, but I found it in Kelly Norris.
He’s done the research and has the horticultural knowledge to back up his strong words. He’s a PowerPoint master. And he commands the attention of any audience. We were lucky to have him at the National Hardware Show!” –Paige Worthy, Lawn & Garden Retailer magazine
>>”I would like to confirm our pleasure with your presentation. Your visit at our Project GREEN Garden Forum was full of good information, presented with enthusiasm and knowledge. We especially enjoyed the wide variety of plants you presented and the clarity of your photographs in your powerpoint presentation. We will look forward to your next program.” –Melanie Haupert, Iowa City Project GREEN
It was more than a pleasure to have you speak for the Hardy Plant Society/Mid-Atlantic Group this year, it was inspiring. Iris are underused in gardens because so few people think of the diversity of bloom times, heights, flower types, well, essentially anything different that they have to offer a potentially great garden. My members loved seeing the lovely photography and hearing difficult iris questions answered. We look forward to having you back in the future.
All the best,
Sharee Solow, ASLA, PCH

It was such a pleasure having you speak at our Winter School. I don’t think people expected to hear everything you had to say, and I think it opened some eyes. You did a wonderful job! Next time we will have to have fun with plants too!
